ETHYLENE ABSORBER FILTERS
PRODUCT AND ORDERING INFORMATION (NAVY CUSTOMERS)
AgraCo Technologies strongly recommends that Commands order Extend-A-Life™ ethylene absorber filters through the MILSTRIP or DoD EMALL process to ensure that demand for the product be properly
recorded, and to ensure that adequate stock levels are maintained at the supply centers. The following information is provided for ordering through DLA:
MILSTRIP: We recommend that you submit your request for filters by beginning your MILSTRIP with A0_ SMS, so the document goes directly to DLA. You may also order these filters via DoD EMALL. All
DLA items are now 9B cog. Also note that recent changes have changed these filters to an “A” code on the SHML, and they are allowed to be carried onboard. If you submit your requisitions through your
local FISC, please use an Advice Code (CC 65-66) of 5Q. Advice Code 5Q means that you have a statement on file which says "I certify that this item has the proper approval/signature for issue in
accordance with current instructions”. The 5Q advice code will let the FISC know that this is an authorized item for your ship. If you do not use 5Q, your requisition may be cancelled with CQ status
code.
DLA is taking steps to ensure that supply centers are properly stocked where these filters are used. In the event DLA is out of stock, we recommend that you procure these filters directly from
AgraCo Technologies. We have adequate supplies on hand and can ship next-day.
The following ordering information is provided for direct purchase of AgraCo filters when DLA is out of stock, or the command has an emergent requirement
